The customary induction is a glass of blood (red wine). I'm afraid you'll have to toast long-distance.
There are so many communities you can join on lj. "Unlike blogger", whispers someone from the back.
I've even heard of people who've had their blog archives disappear without a trace.
P.S. You could do an RSS feed of your blog to lj. Might need to ask Bear for details.
i'll have a look into it... Not sure how useful Bear will be, considering that prior to the resurrection of this one, I was talking to Bear about a friend's blog and he was like "blog? what is this blog thing?"

gee, that was wacky.
Wow! That's the latest thing! It's called 'link spamming' and it was only discovered a few weeks ago. Apparently someone discovered you can post comments on peoples weblogs, and thought "that's a great way to market things!". So now we have spam on our weblogs! Isn't that great?
no wonder livejournal makes me do the 'i'm a human' test...
